Thank you for visiting the Internet home of The International Baptist Church of Brasilia (IBC).  Finding a church home can be difficult, especially when moving to a foreign country. IBC is truly an international church where you will find a diverse congregation from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.  Many attendees call IBC their church home while on short-term work-related assignments in Brasilia, yet we also have a large number Brasilian nationals. 

Our Sunday morning worship service is in English but you will find people connecting and sharing life in many other languages, from French to Swahili to Japanese. You will enjoy a blended music style that includes both contemporary praise and traditional hymns. We have Sunday School for all ages, Children's Church on Sundays, small groups during the week, and special conferences for men, women, and teens.  Whether you are relocating to Brasilia or are a long-time resident, we would love to have you as our guest this Sunday.

Precept Bible Study: Covenant

  Covenant is the thread that runs from Genesis to Revelation. God enters into a binding agreement with His people and always keeps His promises. Trusting Him as a covenant partner frees us from the bondage of worry and anxiety. This study will transform the way you read the Scriptures. See "Connect" section for more information.

Women's Growth Groups

 Linda Dillow says that women worry a lot. "We want to be content and trust God with our worries, but it is a struggle to let go and free ourselves from the burden of anxiety."  This book is filled with encouragement and practical help for overcoming anxiety. Two women's groups will be using this book as a discussion guide.  See "Connect" section for more information.

A recent study by Barna Research found that just 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview.  In an effort to address the need for more in-depth teaching concerning the Christian worldview, we are offering Focus on the Family's The Truth Project beginning in August. This English language DVD-driven presentation includes 12 one-hour sessions.  See "Connect" for more information.

Missions Project:  Sports Clinic
 

 Join us September 18 for a special Sports Clinic in Sao Sebastiao. The IBC Missions and Outreach strategy includes strengthening local churches, therefore, IBC is partnering with El Shaddi Baptist Church for this one-day Sports Clinic. The purpose of the clinic is to introduce children, youth and their families to a relationship with Jesus.  IBC family members of all ages are invited to help serve in this fantastic missions and outreach opportunity to the people of Sao Sebastiao.
